As you prepare for the spring 2025 semester, please note that all international students are expected to attend classes in person.
If you are a first-year or transfer student, we recommend that you arrive in the U.S. on Thursday, January 9, 2025. If you plan to live on campus, this is the earliest you can arrive at your housing assignment. If you arrive earlier than January 9, you will be responsible for your own housing accommodations (e.g., hotel, staying with family or friends, etc.) until then. ASU has provided a list of preferred hotel partners and you can view them here.
If you are living on campus, you can arrive and move in on January 9, even though the Housing Portal may show a different date and time. This early move-in is to accommodate your attendance at International Welcome and other early start programs you may be participating in.
